Why do people still steal cds? Is there any value in a pack of cds that are mostly folk and jam band in nature? I don't think so. I doubt they can be sold. I'm not even upset that they were stolen from my car because they're all loaded into iTunes, so I still have the music. Luckily the car was unlocked, so no broken windows for some cds. And luckily we don't leave things of value in the car. Personally I would have taken the car seat. I think you can sell those pretty easily. Not that I'm hoping to lose the car seat, I'm just confused by stupid thieves.

I JUST had this thought today....."I don't need to lock the car- nobody steals cds anymore".
Eerie.
Anyway- sorry for your loss. That's just annoying.
Our music critic friend (you've met him, he danced with Chinchilla) has his mailbox regularly rifled. He can't even have CDs sent to his workplace, because people will steal them THERE! Neighbourhood kids (it's a long story) stole a CD from Dad from an envelope in our mailbox, but left the half-torn letter! I wasn't sure whether to be be thankful for the gesture or to be further insulted (like they were thumbing their noses or someting). Anyway: and so on.
What creeps.
p.s. I think I can find the picture for the She's Here! CD, by the way, though I won't be able to find the typeface (I already tried once)...
