good dog

Last night as Gretchen and I were playing on the floor the two dogs wandered in and lay down on either side of her.  She played on, oblivious to the fact that they were there.  She would roll into Katie and kick her, and Katie wouldn't flinch.  She would touch Banjo ever so slightly and he would move away from her, but was otherwise very good and tolerant.  It was very funny.  It took me a while to figure out why they were being so good.  The toys.  The little monkey finger puppet and few rattles on the floor were calling to them, pleading with them to be torn to pieces.  It was taking every ounce of self control that they had to not steal a toy.  Do you see the longing in Katie's eyes?  What good dogs.

Ha! ha! Love the picture! Could you send a larger version, though? Can't believe how much she's matured in three months. Can't believe it's been three months, for that matter!

I love her little brown outfit.
Those are some good dogs. Give them pats for me.
