Cute sad face

I was taking a photo of Gretchen with these socks on to give to the woman who gave her the socks. Aren't they cute? Anyway, as you can see she had a moment of despair while I took one photo. I hate to say it, but I do think her sad faces are pretty cute.

Just to prove that I wasn't torturing my child, here is a happier photo from moments later.

I forgot to take any photos on Thanksgiving, but we had a great day. Toast was closed, but Don went down to the restaurant to make waffles for some friends and anyone who dropped by and wanted one. Actually, I did get one photo at the waffle breakfast. Patty holding Gretchen for the first time. Her words to Andy were, "Be very afraid." He says he doesn't want kids, but the other night I heard him say Gretchen was cute (usually he refers to kids as aliens, so this was a big improvement). Gretchen once again had her Jets outfit on for the big game (and quickly soiled it--I'm telling you she does it on purpose with that outfit), but put on her fancy party outfit that Anne's mother-in-law gave her for the later festivities. I need to get a photo of her in the party clothes, they're cute.

Anyway, after waffles we headed up to Rockwell and Jackie's for dinner. Their town is the birthplace of UHaul, which if you've ever been up there would probably surprise you, as it's a pretty small out of the way place. It was a fun night of baby tv, with a 2 month-old, one-year-old and two-year-old. It's pretty cool to see the differences at those ages.
