Time Flies...

Now that application season is over, and girl scout cookie season is over (both ended today, yay!), I feel I can re-enter the real world. Whew. I'm looking forward to some sleep for sure.

Some more signs of spring, which have actually been around for a few weeks now, but today they look especially nice, despite my really bad gardening skills. The goal for the spring/summer is to improve those a bit.

Last fall I prepped in front of the picture window for a little patio, and Don is almost finished putting in the stone. I watched and directed while he worked. Actually I mostly slept on the couch--it was a very sleepy Sunday for me. Since we don't have a porch this will be a nice place to sit and watch the crazy neighborhood kids.

Tomorrow Banjo is getting his hair cut, so here he is in his before photo with his winter coat. It's a little earlier than we usually get him groomed, but Don is really sick of the clumps of hair floating around the house. I'm too tired to try and get the image oriented right. We had a major computer meltdown and got a new macbook, and iPhoto doesn't like me. Looks like the image is in there right, but no it's not. Oh well. Some other day. The dogs are apparently ready for bed so I might as well head that way too. It's 8:00. I'm a party animal. Eldon/Donella likes to sleep, or likes to make me sleep.

This is one of my favorite photos of Pete. It's from breakfast in the Amana's with the Decker/Herrs almost 2 months ago. I've been dreaming of pancakes the size of my head all week. Maybe I'll make some for supper tomorrow. Mmm...Amanas pancakes.

A pancake the size of Pete's head is quite a pancake indeed! Hooray for your patio. That will be nice to have. How is the cafe coming?
Ohhh... but Banjo looks so lovely, all hairy like that - at least, sideways, he does. & that's going to be a lovely patio, thar!

Augh! That last pic seriously made me jump. What is going on with my mouth?
