Green eggs

I came home tonight to find a bowl full of eggs at our front door. Our friend Rob has a couple chickens in his back yard that have supplied him with many tasty eggs for the past few months. You can't tell in the photo, but they are a very pretty shade of green. Kind of like this.

I couldn't resist having fresh eggs for dinner. A couple eggs over medium and some tomato/basil salad. Mmmm. It's definitely a different experience having fresh eggs from chickens who eat from a garden. Might have to get me a couple chickens.
