Today I joined the Girl Scouts! I was in the volunteering mood when we were at the Woodstock neighborhood picnic a couple weeks back, and there was a woman there asking for Girl Scout volunteers. Tonight I went to a parent meeting (I was the only non-parent) and signed up to be a co-leader of a Brownie troop.The other leader is very outgoing and should be a lot of fun. The troop doesn't start meeting until October, but there is much training to be done between now and then. Who knew?
